It's been a long time coming and the reasons for not posting a diary until now would just take up too much space and are irrelevant anyway. So here goes.This quote has been in a frame by my computer for several years now and I feel confident that the time has come to take it down.

Thomas Jefferson-1798The last several years have been a total nightmare for me. I've seen, as you have, the defilement of our principles and all the good things this country has stood for to us. How was I going to explain to my young son what had happened? What had gone so terribly wrong? Well, I just kept looking at Jefferson's quote and knew he had to be right. Thanks to everyone (especially here) for making it happen.
